I wouldn't hate it if a character could pass down a weapon at retirement, also. I wish there was a way to rebalance this so that at least one character of each class sticks it out to the bitter end. It's just unsatisfying, from a story perspective. Plus it's disappointing that none of my starting characters are still around to see things through to the end. I get that the incursions exist to apply time pressure, but it's discouraging to leave the map uncleared, if you ask me. Now I'm severely underpowered for the final fight. I lost my entire hunter division! Meanwhile the baddies have been adding cards and building up strength while I try to solve everyone's problems and clean up the map. ![]() Of course, there's only 1 dude I can recruit immediately, which is fine, because I can't afford to gear up a whole new squad. Act 4 ended and half my team took retirement. This just happened to me in a five chapter game.
